Lawnswood School is based in the north of Leeds in new purpose built buildings and became a specialist Mathematics and Computing College in 2004. We believe that all students have talent and value harmony, quality, independence and enjoyment in learning.

We have over fifteen mother tongues spoken in school, and a strong musical and artistic tradition with an excellent and well used video editing suite and IT facilities to support digital photography.

As well as out of school orchestras and choirs, readathons and activities to support World Book Day, we have sports clubs, fundraising initiatives and organised sports, cultural and language trips and exchanges. We could not have involved ourselves in Radiowaves, were it not for CAPE’s NOF funded programme.
