To increase the confidence and motivation of young people
Creative activities increase motivation and commitment to learning. The standard of products and the enthusiasm have been infectious with pupils very keen to get on board. This has meant that schools have waiting lists for some activities. Feedback from both teachers and young people constantly refers to a “positive mood”, pride in what has been achieved and produced, especially when work has been shared and the effect this has had on young people’s standing with rest of the school and beyond.
